Glove Box Restoration 1967 Dino Spider

Post by Dino4CELD »

I have a 1967 Fiat Dino 2000 Spider, and I want to restore the glove box. My glove box is missing a small plate on the top center of the glove box that engages the glove box lock. I have attached a photo of my glove box and the area where the missing plate should be, inside the hand drawn black circle. If you have a glove box with the plate I would very much appreciate a similar photo that clearly shows the plate that my Dino is missing. With your photo I can then have the missing plate made and installed. Thank you.

The small plate that closes the glovebox must have a horizontal slot from right to left because the lock has a longer bracket that can only be moved in this direction

the second picture is frim the "spare parts" section on the Dinopoint website and shows the Box with the small plate.
If you zoom the picture, you can see the details better..
