Casting Marks on Camshafts

Casting Marks on Camshafts

I stumbled on a set of 2-liter camshafts. Two have the letter "A" cast on them, on ether side of the first lobe. The others have "S" cast on them.

i'm guessing "A" are intakes and "S" are exhaust? :?:
