My heated rear window in my 2000 Coupe does not work at all. There is power to both sides of the window and the window looks fine. Has anyone come across this issue? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

Re: Heated Rear Window
probably either a break in the traces on the window - or where the wiring is connected to the window.
Either way is easily detectable with an ohm-meter - you should see a few ohms across the window - if it's open circuit then you can determine whether it's the glass or the wiring easily enough.
Neither is easy to fix - I bought one of the kits which is basically a conductive adhesive or lacquer - very difficult to make it stick. I gave up but may try again, it's now officially the last electrical thing on the car that doesn't work.
